The Allenton Hockey Club is located in Ashburton, Mid Canterbury, New Zealand. It caters for all ages, both junior and senior hockey. It provides opportunities for players to participate during the hockey season. The Allenton Hockey Club has strong community support.

Methven
The Methven Hockey Club was originally "The Methven Hockey Ladies Club" but as the game grew in Methven and boys were also keen to play, the Club formally changed its name to better reflect its members.
We have teams in all grades and in 2024 entered a Men’s team for the first time in years which the club is very proud of. All our games are played on the Ashburton Turf however we are lucky to have the support of Mt Hutt College who allow us to use their turf for training. The Club is going from strength to strength and we hope to keep heading in an upward direction for years to come. We encourage any new players to get in touch.

Tinwald Hockey Club has teams in all junior grades and caters for kids from year 1 to year 8. We also have a Division 2 Men’s team which caters to all boys/men from year 9 and up.

Wakanui Hockey Club has been a pivotal part of the Wakanui Community since 1932!
We encourage players young and old to join our club. New players from any school/area in Mid Canterbury are welcome.
We are focused on positive experiences in sport, good sportsmanship and encouraging attitudes both on the field and on the sidelines. Players are supported to extend their skills and have a love for the game and being part of a team.
